Autobiography in 5 Chapters


Being the youngest of three girls, I learned that not everyone agrees upon the truth. Also, others don't always appreciate the truth being told.


I don't always need to say what is bubbling up inside me. Saying unkind words usually hurts, and sometimes they are true.


'White' lies are not the same as telling the truth, and NOT saying something that is true is often as harmful as saying something that is untrue.


I learned the hard way that just because someone you love says something about you doesn't necessarily mean it's true.


Now, just like the Blue Heron studies its surroundings, I watch more closely for the right time to take action and speak the truth.
